A highway collision killed seven people and injured one other in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Thursday, local police said.
A mini van bumped into a truck on a highway near the provincial capital Harbin at about 12:25 p.m., killing seven passengers in the mini van, according to the city's public security bureau.
The injured person was also from the van.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
