20 volumes of "Chinese Ethnic Literature Series" will be published right before the 60th anniversary of the founding of P.R. China. Writers from 55 ethnic minorities have their works enlisted, according to sources from the recent National Conference on Minority Literature Translation.
Secretary of Party Branch of China Writers Association and Vice President Jin Binghua said that in the future, they will take measures to promote ethnic minority literature and translation work. These measures include: cooperate with the State Ethnic Affairs Commission for the work of the Ninth National Minority Literature "Horse Award"; organize minority literary translators’ senior seminar class, and so on.
