Scaffold collapse kills three pedestrians in NE China |

Three pedestrians were killed and another three were injured after a scaffold collapsed in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. when a scaffold in a wall decoration project collapsed beside the Times Square on Taiping Road, Mudanjiang City, a municipal work safety official said.
Two pedestrians died at the spot. One died in the hospital.
The other three were being treated at Mudanjiang Municipal No. 2 Hospital, including one seriously injured person who was sent into surgery.
