CSB: major supplies not cut off, building damages not severe in Deyang

Major power and water supplies as well as telecoms and transportation have not completely cut off in Deyang, a city 50 kilometers north to Chengdu, capital of southwest Sichuan Province, China Seismological Bureau (CSB) said Friday.

The buildings in the city were not severely damaged as expected, and telecommunication and transportation were not completely paralyzed. according to the latest report from the CSB earthquake assessment working group.
