Labor unions in the Taiwan region have expressed condolences and donated for the people in the quake-hit areas in the Chinese mainland, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions said Friday.
Senior executives of the Taiwan Electric Power Labor Union, the labor union of Taiwan Export Processing Zone, the Taiwan Petroleum Workers' Union, the Taiwan Confederation of Trade Unions, trade union of Taiwan Post Co., Ltd. sent condolence letters expressed their concerns.
Chiefs from the Taiwan-based China Airlines Employees Union, National Federation of Chinese Construction Workers' Union, Chinese Federation of Railway Workers' Unions also had sent letters and hoped the quake-affected people to go through difficulties and have their homes rebuilt in early days.
