A woman was rescued in Beichuan Monday morning after being trapped under the rubble for 145 hours.
The 61-year-old Li Mingcui was found by rescuers at 9:48 a.m. Monday under the rubble of a bazaar in Beichuan county, one of the worst hit counties in quake-hit southwestern Sichuan Province.

Li Ningcui, who had been trapped beneath the rubbles for 164 hours, was saved alive at 10:40 a.m. Monday from below the rubble in the seat of Beichuan County near the epicenter of the earthquake that was measured 8.0 magnitude on Richter scale. The rescuers pulled her out at 10:42 a.m. and sent her to the nearest hospital.
The rescue team is still searching for survivors among the ruins at Beichuan, said Li Hongguo, head of the rescue team sent by the China Seismological Bureau.
