So far, meteorological departments have formed an intensified weather observation network consisting of 186 national observatories, 9 aerological stations, 11 Doppler weather radar stations, 3 emergency mobile weather stations, 2 mobile radars, 1024 regional observatories, Fengyun-2C and Fengyun-2D meteorological satellites, 5 joint military and civilian emergency observation teams and 9 field emergency observation teams. The network will intensify meteorological observation to enhance the monitoring and early warning system for small- and medium-scale weather in disaster-stricken areas.
