By June 20, 110,049 commercial circulation and service centers in Sichuan, Gansu and Shaanxi have resumed operation; and the recovery rate reached 79.2 percent, according to the latest statistics from the Department of Commerce.

Recovery rate of less- damaged Gansu and Shaanxi regions reached 92.8% and 98.6%. In Sichuan, 101,798 business outlets resumed operation with a recovery rate of 78.2 percent.

According to incomplete statistics, by June 20, commercial outlets (including individual industrial and commercial households) damaged by the earthquake totaled 138,960 in Sichuan, Gansu and Shaanxi. Among them, 35.6 percent were completely ruined; 48.6% were damaged and 15.8 percent were slightly damaged. The direct economic loss amounted to 26.782 billion yuan.
