According to Yunnan's Department of Forestry, as part of earthquake relief work in Yunnan, 3 baby pandas will be sent to the Yunnan wild animal park at the end of June for two years of rehabilitation.

After the 5.12 earthquake in Wenchuan, Yunnan's Department of Forestry became concerned about China's Sichuan Wolong Giant Panda Protection Research Center and offered assistance to the rehabilitation of the Wolong Giant Panda Protection Center.
