The death toll of China's major earthquake still stood at Tuesday's figure of 69,185 as of Wednesday noon, the State Council Information Office said.
The number of the injured remained unchanged from Sunday's 374,171 and people reported missing dropped from Tuesday's figure by nine to 18,458 after the 8.0-magnitude quake jolted southwestern Sichuan Province and neighboring regions on May 12.
As of Wednesday noon, 96,207 injured people had been hospitalized and 83,078 have recovered and been discharged. There are still 10,493 people remaining in hospital, the office said in a statement.
The relief workers had rescued and evacuated nearly 1.47 million people in quake-hit areas as of Tuesday.
The government disaster relief fund had reached 54.67 billion yuan (about 7.81 billion U.S. dollars), including 49.61 billion yuan from the central government and 5.06 billion yuan from the local budget.
As of Wednesday noon, domestic and foreign donations had reached 53.50 billion yuan in cash and goods, of which 19.11 billion yuan had been forwarded to the quake-hit areas.
As of Wednesday noon, about 1.58 million tents, 4.87 million quilts, 14.1 million garments, 1.40 million tons of fuel oil and 2.99 million coal had been sent to the quake-hit areas, it said.
As of Tuesday, relief workers had built 332,500 temporary houses and another 28,300 were being installed, while the materials for 61,500 of such shelters had arrived in the affected areas.
In the 24 hours that ended Wednesday noon, 153 aftershocks were monitored in the quake zone. All the tremors measured at or below 3.9 magnitude on the Richter scale, according to the China Earthquake Administration.
A total of 13,979 aftershocks had been detected since May 12.
Of the 48,275.5 km water supply pipelines damaged during the quake, 42,522.1 km had been repaired by Wednesday noon, according to the office.
Of the 53,295 km of roads damaged in the quake, 52,276 km had been restored, the office said.
