Recently, Hangzhou held a "Digital Wireless City" demonstration. Wang Guoping, a member of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary of Hangzhou City, attended and pressed the laser ball to begin trial operations. This event's launch indicates Hangzhou has become the country's first digital wireless city.

Currently, Hangzhou's "Wireless Digital City" wireless broadband MAN covers all urban traffic areas, backstreets, squares, scenic areas, offices, hotels, recreational venues and more.
