According to the Construction Office of Tibet, construction of Lhasa's first Urban Sewage Treatment Plant (USTP) will be under way soon, since it was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission recently.
A spokesperson revealed that the USTP of Lhasa will adopt CAST technology, and the short-term construction scale will be 50,000 tons per day; while that in the long-term will reach 100,000tons per day.
