Key projects of the Tibet Autonomous Region have overcome difficulties and continue to maintain the scale of investment growth. Fixed assets investment in the first half of this year reached 9.01 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2 percent. After the March 14 incident, against the impact on fixed assets investment, the government increased efforts to attract investment; and 7.52 billion yuan of funds are available, at an increase of 56 percent. By the end of June, 180 projects assigned by national ministries, were completed in Tibet; and construction investment reached 28.83 billion yuan, accounting for 37 percent of total investment in the "11th Five-Year" plan.
