Five people died and four were injured when a speeding truck overturned in a Tibetan county on Wednesday morning, said local authorities.
The accident occurred at 7 a.m. when the truck carrying telegraph poles in Conjo County, Chamdo Prefecture, rolled over. Nine people were aboard, including the driver.
When the vehicle overturned five people died at the spot. The rest were injured and hospitalized.
An initial investigation indicated excessive speed caused the accident.
