With the successful closure of Beijing Olympic Games, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will become the next focus of attention of the world. Internet-service provider Tencent and multi-media service provider Crystal CG Ltd will work together to hold the first "Internet World Expo" in the history of World Expo, integrating applications of the Internet, 3D technology, video-on-demand, virtual communities, to show World Expo on the Internet ,as well as create a real-time interaction network platform.
Tencent and Crystal CG Ltd held "entered the World Expo," the Internet and digital media technology forum on October 13th in Hong Kong, where they announced the "Internet World Expo" will be online on May 1, 2010.
With a history of 150 years, World Expo is not only an international event to show social, scientific and economic achievements, but an arena to demonstrate human creativity and wisdom.
China 2010 Shanghai World Expo will use "City, Better Life" as its theme. Deputy director of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau Zhu Yonglei said in the opening speech at the forum, "Internet World Expo is one of the two major innovation highlights of the Shanghai World Expo. This platform overcomes the limits of time and space, makes interactive display of World Expo to a greater range, and demonstrates the wonderful Expo at any time, everywhere. "
