A partially-built stone wall caved in at a construction site in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, leaving two people dead and another missing, local authorities said Tuesday.

Workers were building a dining hall for a school in the Miaoya Township of Wulong County when the accident happened at about 3:35p.m., said a spokesman with the county government.

The accident also left a worker injured, the spokesman said.

The cause of the cave-in was not immediately known.

Rescuers are searching the missing worker buried under rubble, he added, providing no further details.
