Nine buses in a parking lot caught fire early Friday morning in the northeastern Heilongjiang province.

No one was injured.

According to firefighters, worker Wang Siansheng was trying to start a bus when its gas tank exploded at 5:04 a.m. in the Xiangfang district of Harbin, Heilongjiang's capital. Fire then spread, consuming nine buses and one truck.

Foul play is not suspected, however, police have not yet decided whether Wang will be punished for the incident.

Sixteen firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze at 6:28 a.m..

Passenger service was not impacted as spare buses from other lines were pulled to cover the 208 route.
