A fire killed five people in a residential building in the eastern Chinese city of Wenzhou early on Monday, local authorities said.
The fire started at about 5 a.m. at the building in the city's Longwan District, and the cause was not yet known, said Wu Jian, head of the Wenzhou Municipal Fire-fighting Brigade.
