Shenzhen becomes global "City of Design" |

Shenzhen was recently named as China's first "City of Design" by UNESCO.
It is the sixth city in the world to be named as such, and follows Berlin, Buenos Aires, Montreal, Nagoya and Kobe.
In Shenzhen there are currently more than 6,000 comparatively strong design companies, and over 60,000 professional designers, covering over 10 fields including graphic and industrial design.
