So far, 109 Chinese central enterprise groups have started using genuine software in their headquarters, accounting for 96% of all the 113 central enterprises. This has been learned from the “Experience Exchange Symposium of Efforts to Promote Central Enterprises to Use Genuine Software” held in Beijing recently.
According to relevant departments, by now, among the nearly 7,600 enterprises that have been listed to use genuine software in 2008, nearly 6,100 have been examined and verified, accounting for approximately 80% of the total number. Meanwhile, the Leading Group of Joint Meeting for the State Council and Local Governments in Promoting Enterprises to Use Genuine Software has inspected nearly 3,900 enterprises, and among those, nearly 570 enterprises have been investigated and punished for violation of regulations.
