"My Homeland -- Beijing and Hong Kong Young Talents Exchange Group" activities were launched at Beijing Language and Culture University on December 25. During the week of activities, more than 80 young people from Beijing and Hong Kong will visit places including Olympic venues and rural areas in Hebei to experience China’s great changes.
These more than 80 representatives are outstanding members of the "My Homeland -- Beijing and Hong Kong Students Exchange Camp" from the past 14 years. Organized as the Beijing and Hong Kong Young Talents Exchange Group, they will revisit the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the Marco Polo Bridge, and pay visits to two Olympic venues, the "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube," and the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center within one week. They will also visit Wentang Township of Pingshan County in Hebei Province and witness the accomplishments made from the new socialist countryside movement, and listen to the valuable memories recounted by the old-timers of the revolution in Xibaipo.
