A warehouse fire in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is still not under control after burning for more than three hours, said local sources on Thursday.
The fire broke out in the Xianglan village of Liuzhou city at about 9:50 a.m. Thursday in a warehouse which stored more than 2,000 tons of sugar, 3,000 refrigerators and air-conditioners, firefighters said.
More than 100 firefighters and 21 engines are on the scene.
An unnamed witness told Xinhua that the thick black smoke was dozens of meters tall and it was hard for people to get close.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still unknown. Source:Xinhua
