Six people were killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in east China's Jiangxi Province, local police said on Monday.
The accident occurred at about 2 p.m. when a taxi and a car collided on No. 320 state highway in the Sanjiang township of Yichun city.
The car had four people on board, three of whom died. There were six people in the taxi, three of whom also died.
The four other people suffered non life-threatening injuries, police said.
It is unknown whether the drivers were among the dead.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
