Guangzhou will complete the construction of low-rent houses for 10,000 households this year, and endeavor to basically resolve the housing difficulties of the registered 77177 low-income households by the end of 2012.

In Guangdong, among 44516 households qualified for applying for low-rent houses, 21154 households, or 47.5% got their housing problems resolved last year with the help of housing rent allowance.

This year, Guangdong is going to solve the housing difficulties for 16,713 households through the provision of low-rent houses, and for 4,100 households through the sale of affordable houses. Therefore, Guangdong will build low-rent houses for 10,000 households.
