Tianjin Port has introduced an eco-port construction plan and put focus on Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone to build a livable green port.

According to the plan, the Tianjin Port puts the ecological environment and ecological cultural construction as its focus, and will set up 34 key eco-port construction projects. These projects emphasize the construction of a specialized wharf, renewable energy applications, curbing environmental pollution, ecological environment construction, building environmental management capacity and other infrastructure construction, absorbing a total investment of 11.46 billion yuan.
