Fosun Group, a famous private Chinese enterprise signed a contract with Shanghai Expo on June 8, and will start construction of its pavilion covering 6,000 square meters on June 26.

Fosun will lead a number of excellent domestic private enterprises to present "infinite vitality," the theme of the corporate pavilion built for showcasing Chinese private businesses.

At the moment, the Shanghai World Expo has attracted corporate investment for all of its 16 corporate pavilions, with state-owned enterprises as leading exhibitors. China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), State Grid, PICC, China Aerospace Corporation (CASC), China Railways, CNPC, Sinopec, China Mobile, China Telecom and other large stated-owned enterprises will independently or jointly build nine pavilions.

Other corporate pavilions include the Coca-Cola Pavilion and the Japan Pavilion from overseas, the SAIC-GM Pavilion, an automobile pavilion to be built by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp and General Motors, as well as those to be built by enterprises including Broad Air Conditioning, Vanke and AURORA Group from Taiwan.

All the enterprises have publicized their pavilion construction blueprints and some have already started construction.
