A thunderstorm that hit Beijing at dusk Thursday affected more than 100 flights at the Beijing Capital Airport, said the airport.

It said 27 flights had been canceled as of 7 p.m. The airport resumed normal operations as of 9:50 p.m., as the downpour eased.
