At 10:00 am on June 29, Shanghai started to inspect the foundations of the building which collapsed on June 27.

In order to ensure safety during the inspection, facilities in the community such as other buildings, flood-control walls and pipelines will be monitored every 30 minutes. Monitoring statistics showed that other buildings in the community are safe.

Relevant authorities will continue to consult with house buyers on June 29. Up to 5:00 pm, 96 buyers had visited the reception at the site on June 29. A total of 351 buyers have been received over the past three days; staff asked buyers to fill out surveys, and listened patiently to their requests.

At present, Minhang District has effective control over developers and other related personnel and funds, and is continuing to communicate with buyers at the site.
