In order to further regulate human organ transplant, the Red Cross Society of China and the Ministry of Health jointly announced the establishment of a human organ donation system in Shanghai on August 25.

Preliminary work for the program will be carried out in 10 provinces and cities including Tianjin, Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Xiamen, Nanjing, Wuhan.
