Zhang Yin back to No. 1 on Hurun list of richest women

Zhang Yin is the richest woman in the Chinese mainland with an overall property worth 33 billion yuan ($4.9 billion), according to the Hurun list of the richest women released Thursday, the China News Service reported.

The 52-year old billionaire was once the first female entrepreneur to beat all male competitors on the Hurun Rich List back in 2006.

Zhang’s fortune shrank to 2 billion yuan last October due to the global financial crisis, but has since increased to 33 billion.

Yang Huiyan and Chen Lihua followed her on the list with a property value of 31 billion and 23 billion yuan respectively.
