Four people died in a pile-up that police say was caused by a drink-driver in south China's Shenzhen City Thursday.

The motorist surnamed Jin crashed his car into a barrier and veered into a tow truck early Thursday in Bao'an District, police said.

The truck hit a mini-bus as the driver tried to avoid the collision.

Three people in Jin's car died at the scene and another died onthe way to the hospital. Jin was slightly injured, police said.
