Man commits suicide after killing mother in SW China

A man killed himself after killing his mother Tuesday in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, said the local public security department.

The man, 35, jumped off a building at Huangjue Park, a residential community in Jiulongpo District, at around 8 a.m., after he killed his mother, cutting her head off, and throwing it out the window and onto the street, according to the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The man was believed to have been suffering from depression, police said. They are still investigating the case.
