Firecrackers accident destroys exhibition hall in central China county

A hall for display of firecrackers in central China's Henan Province was ripped through Monday after the firecrackers being demonstrated exploded all of a sudden, local work safety authorities said.
The blast occurred at about 1:40 p.m. at the 30-sq-m hall in Mahuiying Village of Pingdeng Township, Yichuan County. The hall sat right next to a storehouse of fireworks and firecrackers, said a spokesman for the Yichuan County Work Safety Bureau.
No casualties were reported.
No further details of damage in the accident were available.
The police was investigating the cause of the blast.
