Six people were killed and one injured in a traffic accident in east China's Shandong Province Wednesday, local authorities said.
The accident happened when a truck's trailer overturned while turning, and two containers fell off it and crushed two moving cars in Shandong's Linyi City early Wednesday morning, said a spokesman of Linyi City Government.
The injured was rushed to hospital. It is not yet known whether the injuries are life-threatening, said the spokesman.
Initial investigations showed the truck was speeding which had led to the accident, he added.
The truck driver has been detained, and further investigations are ongoing.
