China conducts its first helicopter rescue trial

A S-76 helicopter that from the North Sea relief flight team lands on the temporary landing area near the accident site and medical staff transfer victims.

On July 22, the “Liaoning 2010” mock rescue operation was held at the Shenyang-Dalian highway section. This was the first time China has used a helicopter in a simulated major accident rescue.

The operation involved about 20 related units, including the Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport and the emergency office of Liaoning province government.
