A bus collided with two trucks in the northeastern Chinese city of Shuangyashan Wednesday, but information on casualties was not immediately clear other than that the bus driver had died, local authorities said.
The accident took place at about 3:30 p.m., and a rescue operation was going on, the city's emergency affairs office said in a statement.
"It is not clear how many passengers were on board," it said.
Sources said the bus driver had died and the collision had left some others dead or injured.
