13 kids injured when kindergarten wall collapses in northwest China

Thirteen children and one teacher were injured when a wall at a privately-run kindergarten in northwest China's Shaanxi Province collapsed Tuesday, a spokesman with county government said Wednesday.
The accident happened at around 10:00 a.m. in Zhangge Village, Jingyang County, Xianyang City, when the wall of a house adjacent to the kindergarten toppled and crashed into the kindergarten's wall.
Sixteen children were 2 to 3 meters from the kindergarten's wall when it collapsed.
It is not known why the house wall toppled.
The injured were rushed to the county hospital. Two children sustained severe injuries and were transferred to a hospital in Xianyang City.
Villager Zhang Huayu and his wife Shi Huanjuan ran the kindergarten at their home.
