Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived here Friday afternoon, starting his two-day official visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of Uzbekistani Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyaev.
Wen is also scheduled to attend the sixth Meeting of Prime Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Uzbekistan's capital city Friday.

Premier Wen arrived in Tashkent Friday afternoon, starting his two-day official visit to Uzbekistan.According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wen will meet with Uzbekistani President Islam Karimov and hold talks with Mirziyaev. The two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.
Wen will also deliver an important speech when addressing the SCO prime ministers meeting, the ministry added.
