Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), met with Vice Chairman of the Syrian National Progressive Front (NPF) Sulaiman Al Kaddah here Thursday.
Wang said the CPC will continue to strengthen the party-to-party relations with political parties of Syria, and promote the bilateral relations between the two countries.
He also briefed the guests on the 17th CPC National Congress.
Kaddah said Syria highly values the traditional friendship with China. The NPF and other major political parties will continue to endeavor for a deepening development of the exchanges and cooperation between the CPC and Syrian parties.
