A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left here Thursday for a visit to Britain, Poland, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.

The delegation, led by Zhang Zhijun, deputy head of the International Department of CPC Central Committee, made the trip at the invitation of the Great Britain-China Centre, Democratic Left Alliance of Poland, The Party of European Socialists (PES) and the European Left.

The delegation will attend the PES Council and the second European Left Congress in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic
