On Dec 11, Henry Paulson, the Treasury Secretary of US, and the Special Deputy to US President, accepted an interview from People's Daily Online. He reiterated the importance of China-US bilateral relations, saying that China-US relationship is important but perplexing, and one of the most important jobs in this dialogue is to help people understand the economic and trade relation will benefit both sides.
Paulson reiterated that bilateral economic and trade relation is key to China-US relationship, and the dialogue will continue to focus on the most important, long-term, and strategic issues, and the sensitive issues at any point of time.

On top of that, Paulson also made comments on the following hot issues: the exchange rate of RMB, devaluation of USD, China's Macro-control policy, and US enterprises getting listed in China's capital markets, and the issues related to China-US economic and trade ties.
Henry Paulson, leading a 9-Congressmen delegation, arrived in Beijing for the third China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue scheduled on December 12 and 13.
