Vice-Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC) He Luli left Yangon Monday after ending her five-day visit to Myanmar.

During her trip in the country, He Luli met with First Secretary of the State Peace and Development Council Lieutenant-General Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo in the new capital of Nay Pyi Taw.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and issues of common concern, expressing wishes to further the two countries' friendship and enhance their bilateral cooperation in the sectors of politics, economy and culture.

He Luli, who is also Chairperson of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, arrived here last Thursday for the goodwill visit to Myanmar at the invitation of Secretary-General of the Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA) U Htay Oo whom she had met on the day of arrival.

Myanmar is the first leg of He Luli's tour to two Southeast Asian nations and she will head to the Philippines after Myanmar visit.
