U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reiterated on Wednesday the U.S. opposition to Taiwan's "referendum on U.N. membership", Chinese diplomats said here on Wednesday.
Rice also reiterated the one-China policy of the United States when she met with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi in Berlin on Wednesday.
