Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing is now in Singapore for a four-day official visit from March 16.

According to the statement by Singaporean Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts on Monday, Tsang met Singapore's Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Lee Boon Yang earlier Monday and both sides had a good discussion on the developments in the arts, design and heritage sectors.

Singapore and China's Hong Kong enjoy good cultural cooperation at both the official and private levels, the ministry said, adding that there are also active exchanges on the literary arts and design fronts.

The two officials discussed how Singapore and Hong Kong could further promote and enhance this relationship in existing and new areas such as bringing Singapore's visual arts exhibitions to Hong Kong.

Tsang, who arrived here on Sunday, will also meet Singapore's Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Vivian Balakrishnan to discuss community and sports development.
