The 11th Georgia Business Advisory Council Centre - the Beijing Georgia Business Advisory Centre Limited - was set up on the 2nd in Beijing.
Georgia's Governor Sonny Perdue attended the inaugural ceremony and said that such a solid platform for the development of friendly and cooperative relations with China represents the continuous increase in trade between the two countries (US and China). He said the centre was established to meet the needs of the existing economy and trade between Georgia state and China's provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. He also hoped that through "face-to-face" contact, the two sides could seek business opportunities while strengthening exchanges in fields such as culture, education, and tourism.
