The Communist Party of China (CPC) will continue to strengthen friendly exchanges with political parties in Thailand as it has in the past, senior CPC official Wang Jiarui said on Tuesday.

Wang, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of CPC, made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Thai Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama.

Wang praised the Thai government's efforts in developing relationship between political parties of the two countries, saying the CPC would make more efforts to advance friendship between the two peoples.

Noppadon said Thailand attached great importance to enhancing cooperation and exchanges with China, and the People's Power Party was willing to learn from the experience of the CPC.

Noppadon is on an official visit from April 14 to 15.
