Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed seven new ambassadors in accordance with the decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

Zhang Bolun was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Angola, replacing Zhang Beisan.

Chen Mingming was appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, replacing Lv Fengding.

Zhang Jun was appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, replacing Xue Hanqin.

Wang Weiguo was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles, replacing Geng Wenbing.

Geng Wenbing was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Benin, replacing Li Beifen.

Liu Yuhe was appointed ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Algeria.

Dong Jinyi was appointed ambassador to Switzerland, replacing Zhu Bangzao.
