The ministry said in a press release that the course was an important step in the Chinese government's active participation in international mine-clearing, and it also demonstrates the Chinese government's firm support for Sudan's national reconciliation process.
China will further develop friendly and cooperative relations with the Sudanese people, including those in the south, and continue to make contributions to the peace, stability and development of Sudan, said the press release.
