Twenty students from China's quake-hit province of Sichuan will pay a visit to Russia's Chelyabinsk region for rehabilitation, the regional press service said Monday.

These students are expected to arrive at a summer camp for youths on June 16. The camp will provide entertainment for them and special meals which suit their taste will be offered.

In addition to spending time with Russian students, they will also visit historical sites, scenic spots and downtown Chelyabinsk.

It was reported that another thirty students from Sichuan province will take part in the summer camp in Sverdlovsk region, hometown of former Russian President Boris Yeltsin.

An earthquake measuring 8.0 on Richter scale hit the southwestern province on May 12, leaving 69,019 people dead as of Monday noon.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev invited a group of students from the quake-stricken region to Russia for rehabilitation during his first visit to Beijing last month after taking office on May 7.
