Foreign leaders, governments and officials continue to send condolences and aid to China in view of the devastating earthquake in the country's Sichuan province on May 12, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Patrick Manning, has sent a message of condolence to his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao.

The Armenian government has donated 100,000 U.S. dollars in aid, while the Rwandan government has sent 50,000 dollars.

Equatorial Guinea has donated 1 million euros (about 1.55 million U.S. dollars) for those affected by the quake.

The Canadian federal government and the government of the province of British Colombia have announced they will send an added 8 million Canadian dollars (about 8 million U.S. dollars) for the reconstruction of quake-hit areas.

An 8.0-magnitude earthquake jolted southwest China's Sichuan province on May 12, leaving 69,176 people dead and 374,008 others injured as of Wednesday, according to State Council Information Office.
